Pilates is based on the principle that before working the peripheral parts of the body, the core needs to be strong and stable. Pilates seeks to develop an equal balance of abdominal and lower back musculature in order to build strength, agility and muscle tone in a balanced way.
Kettlebells is an intense cardiovascular and strength training workout utilizing Russian Kettlebells. Kettlebells are cast-iron weights that when swung away from the body using natural momentum, provide a low-impact, highly effective, total body workout that burn calories, sculpt muscle, and melt away fat. At Studio Lotus, our RKC-certified Kettlebell instructors create challenging workouts for small group classes.
