Why Power Pilates?
The Power Pilates instructor is classically trained, having developed a deep understanding of Pilates and, more important, having learned how to teach it. Our instructors know what to look for in a client’s body to determine when to progress. They allow the Pilates system to reveal a client’s weaknesses through movement, rather than the instructor forcing movements they think are needed before the client’s body is ready.
Power Pilates classically trained instructors have the ability to teach in a flowing style, transform clients’ bodies through their use of appropriate cueing at the appropriate time, and rid them of compensatory weaknesses that contribute to chronic injuries. Clients who work out under the instruction of a Power Pilates instructor get the very most out of Pilates.
