Power Pilates Comprehensive Certification at Studio Lotus
Power Pilates Comprehensive Certification is just that: the most comprehensive, extensive Pilates certification program offered. This 6-month, 600-hour program covers Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced exercises utilizing all Pilates apparatus (i.e. Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, High Chair, Wunda Chair, Barrels, Ped-o-Pull and Magic Circle). You will learn how to teach Pilates on the apparatus to people of all ages and fitness levels, including special case clients (i.e. those with back, neck, knee and shoulder problems). In addition, you will continue to utilize and develop the teaching tools learned during Beginner and Intermediate Mat Certifications and sharpen your eye for subtle exercise modifications.
The program centers around four weekend intensives which are structured as follows:
- Weekend 1: Beginner System
- Weekend 2: Intermediate System
- Weekend 3: Intermediate System & Special Cases
- Weekend 4: Advanced System
In addition, candidates will participate in a 600-hour apprenticeship at Studio Lotus comprising a combination of observation of and interaction with Senior Teacher Trainers Davidson Reid and Anne Brendle, weekly meetings, workouts and self-study.
