Our Clients

You don't have to be a ballet dancer or professional athlete to gain the strength, grace and flexibility that Pilates promises.  Everyone – the super-fit, semi-fit and soon-to-be-fit – can benefit from Pilates.

Studio Lotus clients include exercise novices, new Moms, high-powered attorneys, tennis and golf enthusiasts, busy executives and competitive triathletes.  Our youngest client is 14 and our oldest is over 80.

For the super-fit…

Pilates offers a means of maintaining high levels of fitness, while strengthening areas of the body that may be chronically weak.  Though there is no ‘spot-training’ in Pilates, the technique can address the specific fitness needs of active clients.  For example, by working hip stability in spinal rotation, Pilates may improve one’s golf or tennis swing.  In addition, the expansive repertoire of exercises (there are over 500), and the endless room for advancement in the technique ensure that the super-fit client will never be bored.

For the semi-fit…

Pilates provides the tools to take one’s body, fitness and overall well-being to the next level.  By challenging the body and mind in new ways, Pilates helps semi-fit clients break past their fitness plateaus.  Whether this means losing those last stubborn pounds and inches, or simply having more energy, Pilates can help clients make the transition from semi-fit to super-fit.

For the soon-to-be-fit…

Pilates offers an energizing form of exercise that safely places you on the path to fitness and health.  Because after just a few sessions clients feel the difference that Pilates makes, they are motivated to stick with it.  New clients have even been known to affectionately refer to Pilates as ‘addictive.’ Additionally, the friendly, non-competitive atmosphere of Studio Lotus is ideal for those who may be intimidated or overwhelmed by the environment and endless choice of gyms and health clubs.  Instead, at Studio Lotus you will find a comforable, professional and supportive environment in which your fitness goals can be attained.
